Vitalabs 2025 Limited (NZBN 9429052752957), trading as VitaLabs, is a contract manufacturer of dietary supplements based in Auckland, New Zealand. We manufacture for brand owners in New Zealand and Australia. This statement explains how we handle personal information collected through vitalabs.nz.

What we collect, and why

When you use our contact or quote form we collect the details you enter — your name, email address, company, phone number, country, a description of what you want made, and any file you attach. The form also records how you reached us: the page you landed on, the site or search that referred you, and any campaign or ad-click tags in the link you followed. Netlify, which processes the form for us, also records technical details of the submission itself, including the IP address it came from. We use all of this to understand your requirements, respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, manage our dealings with you and your organisation, and see which of our marketing actually produces enquiries. If you email or phone us instead, we handle that information the same way.

We also use Google Analytics to see how the site is used — pages viewed, events, browser and device details, approximate location, and where visits came from — so we can improve it. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, company name, uploaded file, or anything you type in free text to Google. Some of the answers you pick from the quote form's menus — the formats you are interested in, an indicative volume band, project stage and timeline — are recorded as analytics events so we can see what kind of enquiries the site produces.

Giving us your details is optional

You do not have to fill in the form. If you leave out contact details or the detail of what you need made, we may not be able to answer you properly or quote for the work.

Who else handles it

Our website is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are processed and stored using Netlify Forms. Netlify screens every submission for spam through Akismet before it reaches us. Notification emails go out through Netlify's email service, which delivers via Postmark. These providers operate infrastructure outside New Zealand, including in the United States, and handle the information as our service providers, on our instructions — we do not authorise them to use it for their own marketing. Google Analytics also processes site-usage information on systems outside New Zealand, on Google's own terms. We use established providers who publish their own security and privacy commitments, and we remain responsible for your personal information under New Zealand law.

We do not otherwise disclose personal information, except to our professional advisers or where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information. This site loads no advertising, remarketing or chat scripts and we do not run a newsletter — Google Analytics is the only third-party service that runs in your browser here.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to answer you, to manage our business relationship, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not keep it for longer than those purposes require.

Seeing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are first. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can, and no later than 20 working days after we receive your request.

If we do not make a correction you have asked for, you can give us a statement of the correction you wanted and ask us to attach it to the information we hold.

You can also raise a privacy concern directly with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at any time, at privacy.org.nz.
