What supplement formats do you manufacture?
We manufacture powder blends, capsules (gelatin and HPMC vegetarian), sachets/stick packs, and automated tub filling (containers up to 6.8 L — coming online at our Whenuapai site). These cover the most common supplement formats in the NZ and Australian market.
Do you work with new supplement brands?
Yes. We work with brands at all stages — from startups developing their first product to established brands scaling existing lines. Development batches are available to validate formulations before committing to commercial production.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Small development and pilot batches are available to validate formulations before committing to commercial runs. Minimum quantities for commercial production vary by format and formulation and are confirmed as part of your enquiry response.
What certifications do you hold?
We hold GMP-NZ certification and a documented HACCP programme (both verified by SGS), and MPI National Programme Level 3 registration (verified by AsureQuality). MPI Registered Importer renewal is in progress. Certificate PDFs are available on our Certifications page.
Do you manufacture for Australian brands?
Yes. Products manufactured at VitaLabs NZ are eligible for export to Australia under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition framework, supported by our MPI NP3 registration.
Can you help with formulation development?
Yes. If you have a formulation, we'll review it. If you have a product concept, we can assist with ingredient selection, dosage guidance, and format recommendations. Note that regulatory advice specific to your product (therapeutic claims, label compliance) should come from a specialist regulatory consultant.
